My chapter for the HP Project....which was due like 2 weeks ago x__x but i was given an extension for my lazyness.

i saw lots of people doing actual realistic renditions of a scene, so i chose to do a more 'movie poster' type mishmash look. plus there was not really any specific MOMENT in my chapter to capture...and even the 2 schools arriving at the very end wasn't that climatic, so i tried to capture it all at once. ...even though technically Fleur wasn't even mentioned.

i wanted the scene to flow really well, but it didn't work out as well as i'd hoped, and i'm still not that quite satisfied with the trio and crowd down the bottom, they look awkward. but oh well.

If you see any obvious problems with this, please give constructive crit, because seriously...i've been looking at this thing for like 3 weeks straight, and i'm afraid i'm blind to all it's dodgy bits now.

i decided that this images would be my first real go at actually digitally PAINTING an artwork since i learnt how to use a tablet this year. And by ' painting' i mean no lineart, not even a proper sketch really, just layers and layers of paint that gradually get more detailed over time :'D
and i have to say, a tablet makes it a hell of alot easier than painting with a mouse! haha

oh and btw. i know the Pegasus are meant to be golden in colour. but that was totally going to screw over my colour scheme, plus in the movies they changed them to a white-ish-silver from what i can tell, so i say what the hell. oh and i couldn't fit in 12 of them >_> and the ships not very 'skeletal' looking. and my vision of Krum looks more like movie Cedric with a big nose. etc etc. wth.

Hope you like it anyways. i haven't drawn HP in ages XD;
please tell me what you think. ...i'll probably edit it alittle more before sending it off tomorrow.
