XDDD there's this calander hanging behind the counter at my work that is full of these sappy cheezy friendship poems. and for some reason, whenever i saw this one i always thought of Stan hahahaha

i love soppy/emotional Stan XD <3

so i sketched this in red pencil at work yesterday. and i decided to continue on with it for practice.
it's messy in terms of colouring and lineart, but i've realised lately that:

1. i've been letting my drawing of anatomy go way down hill lately ;n; my drawings were getting more and more anime-y and basic looking. and i don't really like my style to be defined as ANIME considering when i started with art i didn't even know what anime was D< i didn't know what it was till i was 16 XD

and 2. i don't pay enough attention to clothing in my art, and i know it lets my work down. so from now on i'm going to be paying alot more attention to it, lol i've made promises after all P:

i plan to study clothing and use clothing refs/photos for some of my art in the future, so that i can improve. but for this one i decided to not use any refs atall and see lastly how well i can do on anatomy and clothing free hand right now. -___- ....There are parts that i like, such as Stans pants and hands, but alot of the rest of it looks awkward to me >n< i will improve. and i think going back to reference will help.
i'll write more of a journal on that soon P:>
