i just randomly decided 3 days ago that i wanted to enter 's contest. (almost too late)
So Yep. here's my entry, decided to add All the characters! alittle bit rushed, cos i'm going to my dads tomorrow and therefore needed it submitted by tonight. >u<; but still...i'm really quite pleased. so bright + cutesy!

i was first thinking of something anthro or furry, but that's already been done. so i came up with these fluffy things!
also i wanted to do a full picture that told abit of story all by itself. which i haven’t done in a long while. they are always the most fun to design :D.

So here's the story: Ichichi, Nyanchi, Okachi, Yumechi + Daichichi have all gone to visit their friends Seiyuchi + Saruchi who are monkeys....and they therefore, i assume, live in a tree or atleast a tree-house??? (my logical brain working there XP )
But most of these other animals would not be so good at climbing trees as monkeys, so they're havn't abit of trouble.
Ichichi passes the wrapped lunch she's brought, Onigiri and chocolate eggs (well she is a rabbit, and it is nearly Easter), up to Daichichi, but then slips, grabbing onto Daichichi's chain and making him drop all the precious festive foods TTOTT;; (however Daichichi's not all teary over the food so much as It would Damn well HURT to have someone, rabbit or not, basically hanging from a chain attatched to you ear! XD ) and everyone else is just looking on in either shock or amusement!
Yep. and that's the story. Seiyuchi + Saruchi seem to find the whole fuss a hilarious show!

i really like how Yumechi and little Saruchi came out. and the tree species is so ganked offa the awesome anry. credit where credit's due.

It was about 8 hours on the computer, including completely redrawing the rough pencil-sketched lineart with the mouse. so yes. Everything you see here is produced by Mouse! (+ my mouse sux) ....my wrist is sore. ;__;

i think you've done a great job :D especially with a mouse! and i know the kind of pain that ya go through when doing linearting and colouring with a mouse >_<" its much easier once you get a tablet lol xD

OMFG THIS IS JUST TOO CUTE!

The coloring is superb! Almost looks like a traditional! >w< I love the expressions and could tell what's going on without reading the summary(...sorta...)

THE MONKEYS ARE UBER CUTE! I also LOVE the way you drew the panda's feet all...blocky? O_o;; adds a chibi effect if you ask me.

It does look quite rushed and proportions(sp?) are out of place here and there (The bunny's foot and the cat's tail seems to have gone nowhere then down the branch; plus it looks too long)

But overall, this is so cute and gives me a bubbly feeling inside! I'm faving it! =3 ~~<3

[PS: The fox looks a bit like Naruto xD]

Lidia, the one on crack. Loves food too much. Claims to be...more/less than normal. And has some of the weirdest obsessions(YAOI, Bishidudes in girl clothes)::Saruwatari, Loves to watch the sky.

Oh, I love this, especially because it's Eastertime!

And I know the pain of using a mouse to color. I'm not as good as you, but it's that thing when you envision it in your head and it comes out crappy. ._.;;;;;
