Dead Fantasy

Ayane and Kasumi from Dead or Alive, plus Yuna and Rikku from FFX 2. I have been wanting to draw this forever. because Monty Oum is beyond awesome D: *montyoum

Before anyone asks, No i will not be drawing the rest of them. i like the original 6 best, but didn't really fancy drawing Hitomi or Tifa.

If you don't already know what i'm talking about, Dead Fantasy is a kickass fan-made animation where girls from the Final Fantasy game series' and the Dead or Alive games Hard-core battle it out...for no apparent reason other than fanservice. Which is always the best reason really

I have watched these like 100 times, and i'm still amazed. Although there are small mistakes/inconsistencies, and my suspension of disbelief was shot to hell by half way through part 2 x'D ...just the thought of how much time and dedication must have gone into these is beyond my little brain to comprehend! plus i never get bored of watching them because of the way it's filmed and directed, the camera angles and speeds chosen MAKE these videos as much as the actual Content imo. Bundled all together it pretty much just leaves me speechless.

man if i had that kind of animating skill and knowledge...i'd abuse it so hard xDDD and i've seen enough people do that already *cough* so perhaps it's better if i never go there >u>

anyway, about the artwork. it took me 2 full days to do this u__u i really should have finished those TTGL chibis first, but wth. I was really really happy with the sketches and linearts, but then...because i want to be able to use them for some bookmarks/badges etc at next weekends convention, i painted them rather basically. and now i really don't like the colouring xC it's so bright-shiny-desu crap. but i don't suppose it can be helped. After next week i'ma try painting some real DYNAMIC ORIGINAL LOOKING Stuff!!! D:<
